Community Reproductive Endocrinology (CRE) is a comprehensive infertility treatment center in Indianapolis, Indiana that provides the full spectrum of female and male fertility (andrology) options. Services range from basic evaluations and treatments to procedures conducted with the most advanced assisted reproductive technology (ART) available, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), GIFT, ICSI, IUI, egg freezing (cryopreservation), sperm freezing and embryo donation.

CRE also offers minimally-invasive surgery and diagnostic testing related to infertility and recurrent miscarriage, as well as diagnosis and treatment of fertility associated conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis. Community Reproductive Endocrinology is a member of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, the foremost organization of reproductive medicine professionals who perform assisted reproductive technology procedures, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).

da Vinci endometrial resection - minimally-invasive robotic surgery

Dr. Carnovale is the first physician in the state of Indiana to use the da Vinci surgical robot laser delivery system for the treatment of pelvic endometriosis. During endometrial resection, a minimally-invasive surgery, the da Vinci robot facilitates removal of multiple endometriomas through the articulation of a special laser fiber using a robotically-assisted arm. Removal of multiple endometriomas in one procedure is difficult to accomplish with laparoscopy (and could result in the need to perform a laparotomy).
