A message from Dr. Carnovale
I truly look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your dreams. In addition to receiving the best possible medical care, you deserve to be treated with kindness, respect and integrity. My job is to make sure that everyone who comes to Community Reproductive Endocrinology has an exceptional experience. If you ever are less than fully satisfied with any aspect of your experience at Community Reproductive Endocrinology, please let me know. Thank you to all of you who place your trust in us.
Sincerely,
David Carnovale, M.D.
Medical Director, Community Reproductive Endocrinology
Office hours and appointment times
Community Reproductive Endocrinology is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed from 12 to 1 p.m. for lunch. Patients who need to be seen on Saturday, Sunday or holidays for specific tests and procedures will be scheduled accordingly.
We strive to stay on schedule since we firmly believe in the value of your time. Many times, our patients need to be scheduled on short notice due to proper timing of certain tests or procedures. This, along with unforseen emergencies, may cause a delay in our schedule. We will do our best to keep you informed of these delays and will always strive to stay on time for your appointment.
Please do your best to keep us informed if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. Kindly giving us a 24-hour notice will allow us to schedule others in your place.
Insurance and fees
We have put together pricing information regarding many of our tests and procedures to assist in giving you the most accurate estimation of the cost of your treatment. The nature of our specialty sometimes makes for complications in dealing with insurance companies. We ask that you always bring your insurance information with you and we will be happy to file your claims for our services rendered to you, but please remember that the financial responsibility for payment is with the patient.
If you have insurance coverage with one of our contracted carriers, we will expect your co-insurance and co-pays to be paid at the time of service. If you have commercial insurance, we will still be happy to file your claims for you, but we do expect payment in full at the time of service. Our office does accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, personal checks and cash.
Financial counseling
As part of our comprehensive approach to specialized reproductive services, we also have a dedicated financial counselor available. This individual is an expert on insurance aspects of fertility treatment and will happily assist patients with any questions they have about their coverage.
Barbara S. Duncan
Appointment/Insurance Coordinator
Before joining the team at Community Reproductive Endocrinology, Barbara worked in an infertility office for ten years. From that experience, as well as having been an infertility patient, she is very familiar with the many challenges couples face when trying to have a child. Barbara schedules appointments, verifies insurance benefits and assists patients in obtaining medical records. She is the first person many patients will speak with when calling to schedule an appointment. Barbara’s goal is to make sure that all patients coming to Community Reproductive Endocrinology feel welcomed.
When not working, Barbara enjoys building kaleidoscopes and teaching cooking classes. She and her husband are SCUBA divemasters and spend time motorcycle touring together.
Jodi Koesters
Office Administrator
Jodi has twenty years of experience in fertility medicine as part of the team for an Indianapolis infertility practice. During her time with that practice, she was involved in and directed all aspects of clinical and administrative services. As the ART coordinator, she developed and maintained IVF calendars for patients, assisted patients in obtaining medications, and gave patient educational sessions on medication administration. A trained ultrasonographer, Jodi also performed ultrasound monitoring of patients going through their fertility treatment cycles. In her role as office manger, Jodi assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits and how they can ensure they receive coverage for services they are eligible for.
Jodi is married and has two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, remodeling her home and watching football. Her favorite team is the Colts, but she loves to watch any team play. Community Reproductive Endocrinology is fortunate to have someone as experienced as Jodi in all of the aspects of fertility care to ensure that patients truly have an exceptional experience.
